1. Information We Collect

FastGuard stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Fasting session records (start time, end time, target hours, completion status)
• Crisis Mode events (timestamps, outcomes)
• Craving log entries (food names, timestamps)
• Defense check records
• App settings and preferences (danger zone hours, target hours, notification preferences)
• Subscription status (free or pro tier)

This data is stored using your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

FastGuard does not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Health or biometric data beyond self-reported fasting times
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Crash reports (no analytics SDK is included)

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored locally on your device using standard operating system storage mechanisms. FastGuard does not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure. Your data is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption).

4. Third-Party Services

FastGuard uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat (for in-app subscription management, when Pro subscriptions are available): RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Google Play or Apple App Store. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Google Play Store / Apple App Store: Purchase transactions are processed by the respective platform. FastGuard does not receive or store your payment information.

No advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking services are included in the app.

5. Data Sharing

FastGuard does not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Since all data is stored locally and never transmitted, there is no data available to share.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data persists on your device until you:

• Delete individual records within the app (history items)
• Clear the app's data through your device settings
• Uninstall the app

Since no data is stored on external servers, uninstalling the app permanently deletes all FastGuard data.

7. Children's Privacy

FastGuard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Extended fasting is not recommended for minors.

8. GDPR and CCPA Compliance

Because FastGuard stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit personal data to any server, most data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA) have minimal applicability. You have full control over your data at all times through your device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we introduce server-side data collection in the future, we will notify users through an in-app notice before any data is transmitted.
